During recording Perfect Memory performs text recognition on your screen. This takes around 7% of your CPU.
You can check your current CPU and Memory utilization in Windows Task Manager. To open Windows Task Manager press
Then scroll to Find Perfect Memory in the Application list.
Perfect Memory takes many steps to reduce CPU use.
Whenever the application window is closed, Perfect Memory tells Windows to put the application into Efficiency mode. This reduces the application effect on the system and its resources.
Perfect Memory will never utilize more than 1 core of your processor. Your activity may still trigger bursts of memories, but they will be processed at a slow rate.
When your device switches to battery power, Perfect Memory will pause the processing of all data. Screenshots will continue to be taken and encrypted nad meetings will be buffered. However, they will not be searchable or included in AI Assistant query actions.
